This October 1st will be the first annual CX Day, a global celebration of companies and people that are creating great experiences for customers. There are a lot of things planned for CX Day in cities all around the world. One of the 21 participating cities is of course my beloved Toronto. This will be our third CXPA Local Networking Event (LNE) in Toronto and our local planning team is hard at work pulling together one heck of an event!
We have a fabulous venue at the National Yacht Club which is downtown on the lake (with plenty of free parking!) and we have assembled a brilliantly engaging panel to share their unique perspectives on approaches to improve customer experience touching on cultural engagement, digital strategies and holistic methodologies. And of course as with our previous events, there will be drinks and snacks.
Our dream team panel consists of…
I have the great privilege of knowing Steve and Ben very well and I am super excited to get to know Eric! I want to share some insights into Steve and Ben because knowing each of them has had such a profound impact in shaping who I am and how I think.
Ben and I worked together at Adobe back in 2006 when we discovered our shared passion to drive meaningful change. Ben is a visionary leader that is fluent in making the seemingly impossible, possible. He is a brilliant creative thinker that has the courage to push forbidden boundaries and the humility to make sure it matters. Ben is not only a highly creative marketing technologist, and he is also a talented musician and artist. Ben recently left Hootsuite as VP of Marketing to join Whatsnexx as CMO focused on their agile methodology and unique open platform for cross-channel integration to improve customer experience.
Most recently I met Steve, I call him my smarter twin, simply because we think a lot alike and share very similar, somewhat peculiar idiosyncrasies. Steve is fascinated by the way people interact with the world around them. I would describe Steve as having an extraordinary third eye which enables him and his very bright team at Delvinia to solve complex customer experience problems, he has a keen eye for creativity and design and his understanding of technology stems from a uniquely diverse background. Steve was educated as an architect and began his career as a video game designer and producer in the early ’90s before joining Delvinia in 2000. Delvnia is a interactive design and digital marketing practice and they recently celebrated their 15th Anniversary!
Ben and Steve have much more in common than their brilliant minds… they are two of the most genuine and caring people I have met and it did not take me years to discover this, you will know this of them instantly because that is what they are at the core. They are also proud husbands and fathers who put family first, once again because that is who they are at the core.
I hope you can join us, I promise that this panel will ignite a provocative and insightful discussion that you do not want to miss. In honour of CX Day this LNE is FREE, please register as we have limited capacity.
Note: I had the privilege of interviewing Ben as well as our Toronto CXPA LNE Ambassador, Derek Bildfell via Clienteer TV a few years back… check them out!
